Tangara Bogie Manufacture Project

  • Refurbishment of the Tangara Trains needed new Bogies for spare replacement

  • Baker & Provan were selected to manufacture a total of 40 bogies - 22 Trailer (TKA) and 18 Motor (MKA)

  • Baker & Provan set in place a quality process which documented material and welds to ensure tractability, a process that forms the backbone of ISO 3834.2 accreditation.

  • The Tangara project was successful completed late 2017 on time and on budget meeting all quality requirements
